The Great Escape!

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I have discovered a new freedom. There is a split second when Mama is changing my diaper, that she doesn't have her hands on me. If I hurry, I can flip right over and get out of there!
My first stop is to attack that mysterious box of wipes. It never seems to be empty and is fun to play with!
Then off to get my outfit. If I am super fast I can hide it from Mama!
Then, it's pure escape from there people. I move into army crawl position and just try to keep Mama from catching me. I have really learned to be fast at this point. It helps that Mama gets tickled and doubles over in laughter!!

My, how things have changed...

Once upon a time, we didn't really enjoy bathtime. Mama got me in and out within about 2 and a half minutes and that made me happy. Now I think it could be my favorite time of the day!
The silly lady tried to give me a mohawk but I just don't have enough hair yet... maybe soon.
I like these great bathtime toys. Can you believe this one is pink too? Mama actually didn't do this on purpose. She promised me it was a little boy bathtub. Maybe the company that makes them just doesn't understand.
I better run! I've got lots and lots of splashing to do!

Another Fun Football Weekend!

My doggies and I get along very well now. Except that they are VERY interested in my toys. Mama is always saying, "Not yours." I am never sure which of us she is talking to, but she is constantly taking toys out of our mouths!!
We posed for an "all the babies" shot. I even tried to look at the camera and smile. Aren't we cute. Too bad Mama and Daddy couldn't get in with us!
Ace gets very jealous when someone is paying attention to me. He tries to jump right in and steal the spotlight. Silly doggie!
This is my new "chilling out" pose. I like to hang out in the afternoons and talk on Mama's pink phone. (Seriously Mama, enough with the girly stuff. Would it kill you to get me a blue phone to talk on.)
Hope everyone is doing well! Miss you all - hope you had as "chill" a weekend as I did!!

Reading!

Sometimes Mama will give me an extra magazine so I can practice my reading skills on my own. I like to crawl to my comfy spot (under the living room table) and just relax for a while.
Once I find a nice cozy position, I get started.
I find the best page with the most interesting colors and pictures... (this one seems to be all about make up. Mama can I get something a little more manly??)
And start reading. Don't be fooled though. Mama skipped all of the pictures of me wadding up and crinkling every single page. If you are going to share with me, make sure you are completely finished with the magazine.

I swear I don't make him drink out of bowls on the floor...

As I have gotten bigger, Mama has let me play with my doggie more. We have lots of fun hanging out and napping together. Sometimes Cali tries to steal my toys, but I keep her in line!
She likes it when I give her a scratch on the nose. I like it too!

I have so much fun, sometimes I just can't stop my giggles!
When Mama forgets to give me a bath, it's really okay. Cali steps right in and takes care of it!
I think I have picked up a few of her habits. I promise Mama doesn't make me eat off of the floor. If I come up and try to lick you or sniff you, I just need a gentle reminder that I am not a doggie!

Today, I am a Gator!

You know what Mama says about equal opportunity college football fans. Last week I was a Bulldawg, this week I am a Gator. Next week... who knows?!?!
Daddy tried to help me do the chomp, but my little arms just aren't long enough yet. I will practice though, I promise. Less than one month until I go to my first college football game! Will Mama survive??

Goodbye Checkerboards!

We got to visit the Checkerboards on Wednesday to see Daddy's last flight in this squadron.
Here he is pulling into our view.
And getting ready to come out to see us.
His friends poured lots of water and champagne on him. It was so much fun to watch!!
Daddy's friends were there too! We'll miss the Checkerboards - it's been a great four years!!
