Welcoming the Christmas season!

Guess what!!!??? I got my first REAL Christmas present today!! It had lots of Santas on that box and I was very excited to see what was inside!!

I got right to business and ripped into that thing. Aren't I doing a good job. I was even very neat as I worked. I didn't throw scraps of paper all over the room. Mama was VERY proud!
I was quick!

Mama thinks these two teeth are really cute, so I just posed for her as much as possible - but back to the present...

Can you see the shock on my face?!?!!
It is my very own Santa suit!!
It even came with a very fun hat!!
You know Mama isn't just going to let me pose with the outfit...

Here I am. I wore myself out opening that thing... SOOOO... Merry Christmas to all and to all a GOOD NIGHT!!!

We are still here...

Hi everyone! We are still here. I have been telling Mama to update this thing, but sometimes she just won't listen. I am still hanging out, crawling around. I enjoy the army crawl the best and don't have any intention of ever lifting my stomach up!

This is my latest trick! I love cabinets and drawers. I got stuck under this one. Mama and Daddy just laughed and kept taking pictures instead of helping me!

I went to the beach again and was much more interested this time. I found this way cool seashell and would NOT give it up. If you zoom on this picture you can see my two cutie teeth!!

My Daddy likes to carry me around Superman style. It is so fun to hang out with him!

This is taken in front of the house we were staying in. Aren't we cute?!?!

This is Mama's Halloween costume! Just kidding! She dressed up in all of Daddy's new gear. He was quick to remind her that he has to put an additional hundred or so pounds on top of all this. She couldn't even get up when she sat in the chair. He said he doesn't have to wear that pink shirt under it all either.

Vance's First College Football Game... and other firsts!!!!

We decided to take Vance to his first college football game. Granddaddy and Grandmother hooked us up with some great (free to us) seats for the GA vs TN game. The weather turned out to be perfect. Mama didn't tell anyone, but she was very nervous about this outing. 4 hours, outside, lots of people, lots of noise, no place for naptime, no place to "eat", diaper changing challenges, etc. etc.
Turns out Mama had nothing to worry about. I am a very good "going places" baby and adapt to any new situation pretty easily. Here we are heading in to the game. I even got to wear a special hat and sticker on my face. I was quite the attention getter the whole day. Hundreds and hundreds of people hit each other to tell them to look at me, told me how cute I was and pointed at me. My grandparents said Daddy should ditch me. Lots of those people were really good looking college girls. Evidently I am a great wingman already!!
Here is the newest Uga! We got to go speak to him just before the game. He was a pretty big guy! For some reason, they wouldn't let me give him kisses like I give to my doggies. He lives in Savannah though, so maybe we can try again some day!
Yeah. Interesting I know. This is actually during kick off. With 100,000 people screaming their heads off. Yep. I adapt well. I took another nap just after halftime. Mama and Daddy really can't complain about me. :-)
I got into the spirit mid way through the game and decided I liked my hat on backwards better. I could see more this way!
This was after the game. We were all really tired, and we still had a FL game to watch!!! Daddy and Jake were the only ones to make it through that one! They won too! It was a great day of football!
I was still pretty exhausted the next day! I slept right through lunch and most of the way home. I still really like that hat though. I made sure the family kept it right where it belonged on my head.
In other news, I had a few other firsts. I got my first tooth! It shocked my adults. Turns out tooth number two came in a few days later and caught right up with the first one.
I said "Mama," too! She didn't believe it at first because only Grandmother and Graddaddy heard me. I was hungry and said it clear as day, or so they say. I said it again just for Mama yesterday. Again, it was time to eat and I screamed it out. Just those two syllables and nothing else. How proud I made her!!!

The Great Escape!

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I have discovered a new freedom. There is a split second when Mama is changing my diaper, that she doesn't have her hands on me. If I hurry, I can flip right over and get out of there!
My first stop is to attack that mysterious box of wipes. It never seems to be empty and is fun to play with!
Then off to get my outfit. If I am super fast I can hide it from Mama!
Then, it's pure escape from there people. I move into army crawl position and just try to keep Mama from catching me. I have really learned to be fast at this point. It helps that Mama gets tickled and doubles over in laughter!!

My, how things have changed...

Once upon a time, we didn't really enjoy bathtime. Mama got me in and out within about 2 and a half minutes and that made me happy. Now I think it could be my favorite time of the day!
The silly lady tried to give me a mohawk but I just don't have enough hair yet... maybe soon.
I like these great bathtime toys. Can you believe this one is pink too? Mama actually didn't do this on purpose. She promised me it was a little boy bathtub. Maybe the company that makes them just doesn't understand.
I better run! I've got lots and lots of splashing to do!

Another Fun Football Weekend!

My doggies and I get along very well now. Except that they are VERY interested in my toys. Mama is always saying, "Not yours." I am never sure which of us she is talking to, but she is constantly taking toys out of our mouths!!
We posed for an "all the babies" shot. I even tried to look at the camera and smile. Aren't we cute. Too bad Mama and Daddy couldn't get in with us!
Ace gets very jealous when someone is paying attention to me. He tries to jump right in and steal the spotlight. Silly doggie!
This is my new "chilling out" pose. I like to hang out in the afternoons and talk on Mama's pink phone. (Seriously Mama, enough with the girly stuff. Would it kill you to get me a blue phone to talk on.)
Hope everyone is doing well! Miss you all - hope you had as "chill" a weekend as I did!!

Reading!

Sometimes Mama will give me an extra magazine so I can practice my reading skills on my own. I like to crawl to my comfy spot (under the living room table) and just relax for a while.
Once I find a nice cozy position, I get started.
I find the best page with the most interesting colors and pictures... (this one seems to be all about make up. Mama can I get something a little more manly??)
And start reading. Don't be fooled though. Mama skipped all of the pictures of me wadding up and crinkling every single page. If you are going to share with me, make sure you are completely finished with the magazine.
