College Game Day in the Geyer House...

When you mix a mama and a daddy with siblings that attend/attended rival schools, this is what you get. One. Mixed. Up. Baby. We have fun watching games and trying to offend no one. Evidently, I am supposed to root for several teams. Good thing they both won today!
Just for the record, we asked Cali which team she was cheering for and she said, "woof." I think that is pretty clear.
Oh, how I love that dog!!!

Mini-Vacation

Daddy and Mama and I got to go on a mini vacation with the Geyers. We had to wait a long time for Daddy to come home and be ready to go, so we read a few books. I love to see my face in the mirror... can you see it?
The first night of our vacation wasn't very relaxing. The adults made me sleep in my pack and play, and I discovered a new friend. See him in the mirror? Every time I woke up, he looked at me and wanted to play. We talked and cried and played ALL NIGHT LONG.
We had lots of fun at the pool and the beach. One night we dressed alike and took some fun pictures. Daddy was still in a good mood for this one. It didn't last long.
Here are Mama and me. I wish she would have let me go in that water. I think she is scared of sharks or something. And maybe fish in general. And seaweed. And crabs. And well, I think the water, too.
But Daddy let me go in. I loved putting my toes in the sand and wriggling them around. They were very tasty after this little encounter.
Here are three generations of Geyer men. Aren't we all handsome. Mama says you can really tell we are family.
And here are the Geyer girls. They like to run and play and act silly. We had a really great time and hope we can all go there again some day.

Weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's

Guess what?!?! Mama finally let me have some real food. I was shocked and surprised at this decision as you can see. We decided to start with sweet potatoes. It seemed I was the star of the show. Everyone was taking pictures of me for some reason!!
Mama was expecting some kind of crazy face, but I actually seemed to like this new orange food. It took me a while to figure out how to keep it in my mouth, but it was sooo yummy!
This is my Grandpa. He loves to cuddle with me and I love to cuddle with him. Mama says I get my techno-sense from him. He loves gadgets like cell phones and cameras, just like I do. I need to teach him that these things are even more fun if you put them in your mouth!
I am such a happy boy when someone is giving me their un-divided attention!
Mama got to open a few more birthday presents and I got a few too!! This paper and the cool boxes are the best part!
This is my blue teddy bear. He doesn't have a name yet, but I sure do like to give him big hugs. Wanna know my secret?? I only do this so people say, "Oh, how cute!" Then they take out their cameras. I don't actually hug my stuffed animals when other people aren't around.
Here I am in my Gator outfit. It finally fits and I am ready for football season. Don't worry everyone, I have several other teams to represent, too!

Just Because I'm Cute!

I have turned into quite the cuddle bug lately. I like to cozy up to someone and put my hands on their arms or face. It makes naptime so much better!
I have even learned to tilt my head toward someone when I pose for the camera. I have had lots of practice, you know.
Of course, I do it because it makes people smile and then I laugh!
Mama thought it was so cute that I had a puppy on my bum. She was taking pictures when I surprised her...
My tummy doesn't have to be on the floor anymore!! Keep taking pictures Mama! Watch this!!

Mama, you better start baby proofing this house. I am only going to give you a couple more days! Then, watch out!

Watching the Olympics...

Yesterday, Mama and I watched a little Olympic basketball. She said I was too funny! I really got into the game and really surprised her.
When the people on tv started cheering, I would give them a big smile to show my support! Sometimes I would even give a few loud cheers!
Cali couldn't figure out what I was so excited about, so she came to investigate. I got a big kiss, of course!!
Wow! They score again, and I think they are going to win!!
Give me the Tivo remote, Mama, I have GOT to see that again!!

Birthday Party!

Yesterday, I went to my very first birthday celebration. I had so much fun with the other little ones. I wanted to do everything they were doing - standing up, scooting around, eating cake...
Did you know that when you go to a birthday party, you get a present too?? This is my cool new Spiderman beach ball. I can't wait to take it to the beach at the end of the month. Party favors are great!!
Mama thinks it's funny because there seems to be a story about Daddy pretending to be Spiderman... I need to check into that!
I got to play with this fun thing for quite some time. When I finished rolling it around...
I decided to work out like Daddy and bench press my ball. See how strong I am???

Happy Half Birthday to Me!!!

It's my half-birthday today! I can't believe I am already six months old! I love all of my new toys and constantly have to be doing SOMETHING. No rest for my Mama!
She loves to take pictures of me and thankfully, I love to pose! Every time she opens that camera bag, a BIG smile goes right on my face.
I am still drooling non-stop, but no teeth yet! Mama checks every morning.
This is my "pondering" profile shot. I have been practicing for just the right occasion. You still can't deny that I am a little Eric.
Mama and I are so silly. We play all day long - and today she won't stop singing the birthday song! Have you ever heard her sing?? Not fun, my friends. I have even pretended to go to sleep several times today just so she would stop!

Big Storm!!

I had a fun time jumping in my jump n go today... until this...
A crazy storm came out of nowhere and part of a tree landed in our driveway right where Daddy's car is supposed to go. Thank goodness it wasn't there... You can see the tree it came from at the top of this picture!
We had a very nice neighbor who cleared the driveway very quickly in case Mama had to get out.

More Weekend Fun!

Here we are at the front of the Aquarium! It turned out to be such a nice day!
This picture is just for my Aunt Gretchen and Scott. See that silly animal back there. It is a gator. Aunt Gretchen loves Gators... and something about football. I am sure I will learn all about it later. Uncle Jake just shook his head at me...
See my other new friend. That guy in the scuba gear was feeding all those fish and came over for a little talk. I wish I could go play with him!
We also went to the Coca-Cola museum. It had so many fun things to look at! I wanted to try my first bottle of Coke. Maybe in a few more years...
Granddaddy cleaned up Mama's first car for me. Isn't it stylish?? As soon as she sat me down in it, I grabbed the steering wheel. I can't wait until I can actually reach the floor with my feet. I will be zooming all around that place!!!

Where Have We Been??

Guess what, Friends?? I went to my first Pampered Chef party! This is my new friend Melodie. At Mama's baby shower, she brought me this cool pampered chef onesie?? I had a great time, and found lots of fun things to play with!
Uncle Jake, Mama and I took a trip to the Tennessee Aquarium. They have a very cool bird exhibit. I thought maybe if I raised my hand and smiled really cute that birdie might come down for a visit. No such luck, though.
This is a sting ray of some sort. I liked watching him swim 'round and 'round. Lots of people were petting that guy, but Mama said I was a little too young. He kept coming by to say hello!
They also had a butterfly exhibit. I really wanted to hold one of those things on my own, but every time I reached out, they flew away. Silly guys. I promised I wouldn't hurt them!!
Here are Uncle Jake and I in front of some little fishies. I wonder where Nemo is??
